The JSSISH Mysuru was established in the year 2001-02 to meet the increasing demand for qualified professionals in the field of speech and hearing. This institute is affiliated to the University of Mysore and is recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India.
The Institute offers graduate (B.ASLP) and postgraduate (M.ASLP) courses in Speech and Hearing. These professional courses are designed to train speech and hearing professionals. At JSSISH Mysuru, speech and hearing professionals are trained to habilitate persons with speech and hearing problems of age groups (from infants to the very old).
JSSISH Mysuru hosts numerous facilities and opportunities to shape up students to become dedicated professionals. The institute provides spacious classrooms equipped with over-head projectors for active learning utilizing multimedia.
