Established in 1991, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences - Faculty of Dental Sciences offers an undergraduate programme to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in various specializations.
The college offers programmes that adhere to the norms prescribed by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The curriculum helps the students to improve their critical thinking skills and to absorb important practical skills for a smooth change from college to the working environment.
There are internship opportunities provided to the students in India and abroad depending upon their preference. The alumni of the college are working for excellent healthcare companies in India and overseas. Some have also established thriving practices of their own.

Experience: The college is attached to a dental hospital with more than 250 dental chairs, laboratories and other facilities for providing clinical services. The students are trained at the attached hospital as well as adopted hospitals in urban and rural areas around Bangalore.
Educational Collaboration: The college has collaboration agreements with dental schools in Hongkong, Ghent University.
Publications: The college publishes the Journal of Orofacial & Dental Research which is internationally peer-reviewed.
