FAQs

Adichunchanagiri College Of Nursing is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

This career choice offers numerous benefits such as job security, benefits and an entry into the medical world. Medical facilities across the nation are in dire need of nurses to assist with the direct and indirect care of patients. The demand and job stability should be encouraging for students to take up the course.

If you train as a nurse, with a plan of later doing further studies to register as a midwife, you need to be aware that it is the discretion of the employing organisation to permit this switch. Nursing and midwifery are two separate and very different professions, and if you decide to train first as a nurse, you will need to demonstrate your interest in nursing and not midwifery.

General Nursing Midwifery is a 3.5-year course that trains you to become a registered nurse with the state nursing council. B. Sc. in Nursing is a 4-year course with the same pathway. Hence a GNM course is a better choice if you are looking forward to getting a job quickly after your degree programme. However, it doesn’t allow you to pursue a Master’s degree as a B.Sc programme allows you to right after completion.

Yes. Adichunchanagiri College Of Nursing is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
