Who is Eligible for MBBS, BAMS and BHMS
Aspiring candidates applying for the programme must have completed higher secondary school/ 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institute or board.
They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as mandatory subjects and must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in the same. 5% relaxation is given for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
The applying candidates for the medical course after 12th must be above 17 years of age.
They must have appeared and qualified in the NEET UG entrance examination conducted by the NTA.
About NEET UG
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG entrance exam is a national medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 13 different languages.
The exam is conducted for the admission to the MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS courses and other undergraduate medical courses after 12th that is approved or recognized by the Medical/Dental/ AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities/ Institutes (AIIMS and JIPMER) in India.
The pen paper-based exam is conducted in languages such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
