JEE Main Exam April 2020 Notification Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the official organizer of the JEE Mains, has issued the latest notification about the JEE Mains April 2020 exams. According to the notification, JEE Mains April 2020 will be conducted on April 5th, April 7th, April 8th, April 9th, and April 11th.  Regardless of whether a candidate appeared for the exams during January 2020, they can appear for the April exams. However, as far as the preparation of the JEE Mains Merit List, only the best of two NTA scores will be taken into consideration.


Latest Notification on JEE Main 2020 April Exams

According to the latest notification on JEE Mains 2020 April Exams, the test is scheduled to be conducted completely online with the exception of the drawing test for B. Arch., which will be a pen and paper based test. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, as prescribed by the National Testing Agency, may appear under B.E/B. Tech, B. Arch., or B. Planning. 


It should be noted that JEE Mains is only an eligibility criterion for the aspirants of IITs and other premier institutions such as IISc. The National Testing Agency will release a list of eligible candidates for JEE Advanced 2020 based on the scores obtained in JEE Mains 2020.  The applications for JEE Mains 2020 April Exams is available online on the official website The last day to submit duly filled forms is 6th of March and the last date to make payment is 7th of March (11:50 PM for electronic transactions such as Credit Card, Debit Card, Online Transfer, PayTM etc.)

New Registration for April Exams

While filling the JEE Main 2020 April application form, please pay careful attention while filling all the details such as personal, academic, preference for exam centre, communication details, etc. Please have a scanned copy of your latest passport-sized photograph (colour or black and white) as well as a scanned image of your signature in the prescribed format, file size, and dimension that need to be uploaded during the application and registration process. Payment can be made through various online options such as credit card, debit card, net banking, Paytm, UPI, etc. 


The detailed fees structure for various sections can be obtained from the official site. The fee depends on the location of the exam centre - inside India or outside India, papers opted from papers 1, 2, and 3, and fee relaxation for various categories.


Candidates Registered During JEE Main 2020 January Exams

If you have already registered for JEE Main 2020 for the January exams, new registration is not required. You can continue to use your login credentials from the previous registration to login to the website for April exams. 

Downloading Admit Cards for JEE Main 2020 April Exams

Candidates who have registered for JEE Main 2020 April exams can download their admit cards from the official site from 20th March 2020 onwards by using their application number and password (date of birth) to log in. Please note that the candidates will not receive their admit cards through email or post.
