JEE Main 2020 Tips and Tricks:

It is important that students use all JEE Main 2020 tips and tricks to make their preparation successful. Given below are some of the JEE Main 2020 preparation tips and tricks for the students.

Practice JEE Main 2020 Mock Tests:

The mock tests for JEE Mains 2020 exam are available both online and offline. JEE Main 2020 mock tests help the students to test themselves and analyze the holes and gaps in their own understanding of the concepts in the JEE Main 2020 syllabus. Students can later fill in these gaps and holes by correcting their understanding of the concept and practicing it again. However, students must not get motivated if they make errors. After all, it is human nature to learn from mistakes. Given below are some of the advantages of mock tests:

  • Helps students to identify their strong and weak points
  • Helps students to learn time management
  • Increases analytical skills of the students
  • Increases the confidence level of the students

Design a JEE Main 2020 Revision Plan:

The quality of revision determines the success of the student. Most students underestimate the importance of revision. Even if students have practiced regularly during their preparation time, they should not take their JEE Main 2020 revision period lightly. Revision helps students to store data in their long-term memory. Therefore, the JEE Main 2020 revision period should be given a higher priority than the preparation period. Some tips to make revision productive are given below:

  • Use the three-tier revision technique as the main JEE Main 2020 revision plan.
  • Revise from your self-prepared notes
  • Divide the revision plan based on easy and hard topics
  • Use flashcards as tools of revision
  • Let others test your memory

Practice JEE Main 2020 Syllabus:

Regular practice is the only way that increases the chances of success in competitive exams. It is because the students become familiar with a particular concept and its applications through regular practice. It helps them to save time thinking about a solution as they could identify the problem since they are familiar with it. Given below are some ways to practice for JEE Main 2020 exam

  • Practice in a neat and organized manner
  • Make practice a part of the main revision schedule
  • Keep track of time to improve time management
  • Get rid of any kind of distractions

Don't be stressed:

As the exams approach, students will feel more and more stressed about their performance. However, it is crucial to understand that feeling stressed and anxious is not going to help out in any manner. In fact, students who get stressed may experience several disadvantages, such as

  • Loss of appetite
  • Lack of proper sleep
  • Health problems
  • Increase in anxiety

Given below are a few ways to reduce stress levels

  • Meditate for at least 10 minutes
  • Go for a walk every day
  • Take long deep breaths when feeling anxious
  • Follow a routine
  • Take breaks frequently
  • Do not worry about the JEE Main 2020 results

Do not learn new topics:

According to the new JEE Main 2020 schedule, the exam is just a few days away. Therefore, there is no benefit in learning new topics of the JEE Main 2020 syllabus because the human brain needs to repeat it consciously for a few times. Only through conscious repetition, the learned information becomes a part of long term memory.

Moreover, there are several other disadvantages to learning new topics a few weeks before the exam. They are as follows:

  • Decreased time for revising old topics
  • Increased stress about completing new topics
  • Decreased time to practice mock tests
  • Lack of time to properly understand the new topics

Prepare a time management plan:

Since the JEE Main 2020 exam date is approaching closer with every passing hour, students must realize the value of time. The amount of time available both for preparation and exam are limited. Therefore, students should create a plan in advance that can help them manage their time. Some tips and tricks for time management are as follows:

  • Give priority to solving easy questions at the beginning of the exam
  • Allott timings to every section of the exam
  • Keep track of time
  • Leave the questions that are consuming a lot of time. Solve them at the end if some time is left
  • Sleep properly on the night before the exam to keep the brain sharp

All of the above tips will definitely help the students to complete their JEE Main 2020 preparation process.
