Tanzania, officially the United Republic of Tanzania, is located in Eastern Africa. The country was formed by the union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar in 1964. The capital city is Dodoma. The official language is Swahili language but English is also spoken widely all over the country.

The mighty landscape which includes the Islands and the coastal plains to the east; the inland saucer-shaped plateau; and the highlands attracts a lot of tourist all-round the year. The Great Rift Valley that runs from north east of Africa through central Tanzania and the pristine sandy beaches are other landmarks that adds to the scenic view of the country.
