Saudi Arabia is located in the Middle East bordering Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE and Yemen as neighbouring countries and Riyadh as its capital. The climate is usually harsh and dry with extreme temperatures. Arabic is the official language of Saudi Arabia, but English is widely spoken. It is used in business and is a compulsory second language in schools. Even Urdu is spoken among the Non Saudi population. Islam is widely practised by all Saudis all over.

The Saudi educational system in Saudi has always been in criticism. The Saudi educational system is dominated by the study of Islam. The curriculum includes its understanding and translations and the understanding of Islamic tradition. So this results in the lack of education in technical skills.
