Jammu & Kashmir is aptly described as the heaven on Earth situated in the northern most part of India. It is a large state and was ruled by a Maharaja (Indian King) in the past. Jammu & Kashmir is made up of many regions but is called Jammu & Kashmir because the two most populous regions in the state are called Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost state of the Indian union consists of three divisions -Jammu, Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. It has two capitals- Jammu, the winter capital and Srinagar, the summer capital. The state is almost mountainous with stretches of valleys and some mountain lakes.

Kashmir is a beautiful valley in the northernmost part of India. It is part of a state called Jammu & Kashmir. The Kashmir Valley is surrounded by some of the highest mountain ranges in the world. The valley itself is green and thickly populated. The people of this Valley are highly evolved and have therefore dominated the history and culture of the state.

The state has some of the best tourist spots in the entire country. Tourists from not only India but also the world over come to enjoy the scenic beauty of the state. Some of the major tourist attractions in the state are Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Leh, Patnitop, and Ladakh.

The political situation in Jammu and Kashmir is not very favorable to the education system in Jammu and Kashmir. The development of it as a result is not remarkable. It has left the state with an impoverished economy and a weak infrastructure. With almost half of the population being illiterate, education continues to be a major challenge. The state faces a scarcity of adequate educational facilities including shortage of proper schools and qualified teachers. But nevertheless, the Central and the State government authorities have tried their best to promote academics here. Free education is provided to students who come from poor families and cannot pay the fee for even primary education. Both the Central and State government authorities are trying their best to improve the education system in Jammu and Kashmir.

Of course Jammu and Kashmir does have some excellent academic institutes that promote higher education. The state boasts of some excellent schools, colleges, universities as well as premier engineering, medical and management institutes.

Overall education system in Jammu and Kashmir is being overhauled these days. Signs of economic recovery have been seen recently. The state administration is keenly interested in reviving the entire education setup. But the task is not so easy it said. The need of the hour is to incorporate innovative programs into the existing educational system which has been seriously taken into consideration. Educational institutions in the state have started to work considerably better and significant changes are taking place to make the system better. We can hope a better education system in Jammu and Kashmir in future years.

And so, institutions are coming up in large numbers using the large level of campus recruitment.

As a booming IT and Financial hub, Bangalore is considered quite expensive city in India. Nevertheless students live in reasonably cheap University hostels and youth hostels. The travel and food are also reasonable. Students from all over the country as well as world come to Bangalore to pursue to long cherished dreams.
